ROUTE CLEARANCE VESSEL MOBILISATION

Vulcan were approached to complete the mobilisation of an offshore vessel which was completing boulder clearance before a cable lay. This included over 233m of MIG and MMA welding on deck equipment

GRAVITY CORER SHIPS OUT FOR A PROJECT IN EGYPT

Vulcan were approached by one of our offshore geoscience customers who had a requirement for a new gravity corer. It was designed with a 600Kg base and an additional 900kg weight which can be added with 50Kg discs. 

CNC LATHE ADDS TO WORKSHOP CAPABILITIES

Vulcan Offshore have recently invested in a brand new Doosan Puma 2100GT Lathe with driven tooling. The new addition to our workshop will assist with our manufacturing capabilities and reduced lead times.

STEEL YACHT HULL REPAIR

This was a repair to the hull of a 1960s built steel hulled yacht. With three weak sections of the hull cut out, plated and repaired it will now be good for sailing in the Solent once again. 

SUBSEA DEPLOYMENT FABRICATIONS

Vulcan Offshore were contracted to manufacture two sets of Sea Chest, Sea Chest Doors, Main Plates and Sonar Flanges for a subsea sonar deployment system. All manufactured from 316 stainless steel.

GRAPNEL AXLE

This de-trenching grapnel axle was made to the customers existing design to replace an existing unit. The axle was eventually delivered to the US Navy.

OFFSHORE DECK EQUIPMENT

Vulcan Ofshore were contracted to manufacture various pieces of deck equipment for one of our valued clients. This equipment is manufactured to the highest quality standards and involved CNC machining and welding.

LAUNCH AND RECOVERY SYSTEM (LARS) DECK BEAMS

Vulcan Offshore manufactured the deck beams and counter weights required for the deck LARS on an offshore research vessel beloning to the National Oceanography Centre in the UK. 

SUBSEA LANDER FRAMES

Vulcan Offshore have recently completed these Subsea Lander Frames for use with underwater electronics. Manufactured using highly accurate waterjet cut plates these were finished to the highest quality.
